Cholesterol blood tests are done to help you and your health care provider better understand your risk of developing heart disease, stroke and other problems caused by narrowed or blocked arteries.
At Roundwood Pharmacy we provide a ‘total cholesterol level’ test. This measures the total of all types of cholesterol in your blood.
The test (which requires a drop of blood) is done by a pharmacist in our private consultation room.
It takes approximately ten minutes to perform the test and explain the results so it is normally performed on an appointment basis only.
